Someone is asleep at the wheel.. Update to 38.2.0 has broken ability to open links in firefox browser. Seriously, how did you manage to break this? Do you test what you put out there?

Excellent program. It is one of the best I have been able to find in the free category. Easy to set up, and Lightning Calendar works seamlessly with it

Didn't like. Didn't like. I've tried it on Linux and it was pretty slow to sync. The interface layout is very uncomfortable for reading emails. Geary is much better. Pros: Feature-rich. Cons: Slow syncing. Bad layout

Thunderbird is the hardest worker on my PC.. I have to stay on Dial-up,and Thunderbird is the hardest worker on my PC. I have it set to go get mail from all kinds of sites and RSS feeds. Love It ! Looking to put it on a Android tablet now.

Preferred email client. My preferred email client for 10 years now. It's stable, easy to use and powerful.

Mozilla Thunderbird. Stalls downloading, moving, opening email. Needs restarting after every task.

New version is awfully. 17.0.2 is awfully slow in response to delete or move messages and remains after such action for a while in a 'not responding' status. I had to delete the program and find an alternative. Pros: Nothing. Cons: Stability

Much like Outlook express and far superior to Windows live mail.. Just the first day, but I find it very much like Outlook express and miles better than the execrable Windows 8 live mail. Very easy to install and so far no bugs. Pros: That it does what Outlook did. Cons: NA

Feature-rich - ability to keep track of what one is doing thru tabs, search. Search is great and I love the tabs. I tend to get lost in Gmail, especially when in conversation mode

Slow and sluggish - yuck!. This is a dreadful version - very slow and extremely sluggish. If this isn't updated soon, I will have to go back to Mail. :( Cons: Painfully slow to respond to deleting or moving messages. Locks up constantly!

Slow. Very slow program. Have used <taglink type="program" country="en" id="76663">Thunderbird</taglink> for years, version 12 locks up constantly, responds slowly, just is not usable. Windows 7 + TB 12 = no go.

Has everything you need, easy to use and easy to set up. I own a copy of Outlook (2007) but finally gave up on it after spending way too much time trying to make its reminders appear on time and then make themselves known to me. Given a Search function that combines complication with suspect functionality, it was time for a change. Thunderbird is a fast, responsive program that will find an email More

Vista Stories: Mozilla Thunderbird. Very good e-mail client which boasts a number of options, support for RSS, integrated anti-spam protection, sort, a quick search of all e-mails, etc. Also, Thunderbird forefront when it comes to a number of extensions with which you can expand the scope of activities of the program, and it complemented by a number of useful features.
